4) Makoto is probably the best Japanese restaurant in DC and I don't think they have a no child policy, but the restaurant is set up in a way that does not accommodate kids very well. Customers know that it is NOT a place to bring young children, thus we've not been there since our kids were born, though we were very regular before.

If parents used more common sense when dining with their kids, it wouldn't be a problem.[/quote]
