Just careful what you wish for. The reason many Basis campuses and other schools like it achieve top national rankings is not so much because they are truly better than thousands of other excellent (high) schools but because they've figured out what "metrics" to hit. For example, one metric that drives national HS rankings is how many students take AP tests, [b]never mind how many pass. So they'll spend a lot of time taking AP exams to get those numbers up[/b], as simple as that.[/quote]

Well, it looks an average of about 80 to 90% of Basis students passed their AP exams. See the Basis brochure which has graphs showing last years AP results for Basis compared to other schools:
