Not sure.  MLB is a big Maga sport.  NFL probably more Maga than NBA as well.   Obviously every player makes their own calculation.   The New York Knicks player calculation is the New York Knicks player calculation.   It may not have enough similarities with those other players and sports and markets for the same decision to make sense.[/quote]

Absolutely.  The point was that athletes performing in the New York market will make this decision for their circumstances .   If other athletes in other sports in other markets decide to go visit with Trump, good for them, but it doesn't mean that that decision will necessarily work for somebody else.

Each player will make the decision that works for them.  Each player will either go or not go and every supporter will have their own reaction to it.

Normal people and sports fans see it as championship teams celebrating with the routine trip to The White House to be officially acknowledged by the POTUS and Federal Government.
