Aren't the SOL and AP dates set by people other than FCPS?

If so, wouldn't it follow that students could have a shorter year if there's fewer holidays set by FCPS that otherwise lengthen the school year?[/quote]

This is why we should have year round school that starts at the beginning of August and lets out at the beginning of June. It would align very well with the SOL and AP exams.[/quote]
