Many private schools don't provide gpa.  Chicago does not report gpa if the high schools don't report gpa.  This loophole allows them to take many private school kids without disclosing their gpas.  Someone mentioned HW gpas for Chicago being lower than many T20 schools, which is true.[/quote]

No, you’re missing the point. The numbers I cited [u][b]are[/b][/u] the HW numbers.

HW is not similar to Sidwell situation.  HW is sending only 3 to Chicago this year vs Sidwell 12-15.  HW has a 300+ senior class vs Sidwell ~120.  [/quote]
