I have to say, for Birkenstock style shoes, having thin feet and a tan goes a long way. Like I notice it on my own feet. I wore Arizonas when I was 9 months pregnant in mid summer, and while no one is going to judge a super pregnant lady of her sandals, I HATED how my feet looked in them, all swollen and pale. I had awful cankles because I was retaining water like nobody's business by the end and there wasn't anything cute about that look. But the next summer I wore the exact same sandals on vacation and suddenly they looked cute, because my feet had returned to their normal size and I had some color. Night and day.[/quote]
