[/quote] No this one is valid. The snow ended up being nothing. A 2 hour delay will easily melt whatever did fall. All the districts called this one way too early. A delay and then reassessment at 5 am would’ve revealed no need to actually cancel. As a teacher I’m peeved … we had remediation for SOLs scheduled, there’s sports tryouts and such, and the kids have had a lot of interrupted instruction. This one did not need to be a cancel. I’m half wondering if they’ll walk it back to a delay though I’m not sure they’ve ever done that. [/quote]
