What is the sense of having plows in quiet neighborhoods at bedtime, and plows blocking traffic during rush hour on a Tuesday morning? When driving home, the Mass Ave plows were blocking traffic in the outbound lanes. If this is not the epitome of inefficiency, I don't know what is. It's as if someone ordered the plows to do the exact opposite of common sense.
Whomever is coordinating this effort--if anyone is--must be truly stupid or completely clueless about DC traffic patterns. 
I can only imagine the diplomats on Mass Ave shaking their heads at the failure of the US education system. We are a capitol city run by idiots. Why did we vote for them?!?[/quote]

They should have been plowing 24 hours a day beginning last Sunday. I don't think a single plow ever came to our street. [/quote]

Maybe, but 1) people would be glad to see the snowcrete cleared ASAP; and 2) they're keeping people up at night anyway because the city has apparently decided to plow in residential areas late at night (instead of downtown).[/quote]
