So he was charged with home invasion, and breaking and entering. Apparently the only person he threatened to stab was himself- with a butter knife.
*and scissors but it's stupid to diminish this Prosecutor in court says Sherrone Moore went to woman's house, "grabbed several butter knives and a pair of kitchen scissors and began to threaten his own life. 'I'm going to kill myself. I'm going to make you watch. My blood is on your hands. You ruined my life.'" https://x.com/ChrisVannini/status/1999541672829506015?s=20 it COULD have been far worse, but I guess it was only butter knives /s
A normal, healthy, married man with kids does not suddenly break into a woman's apartment and threaten to kill himself with a butter knife. No doubt the University of Michigan had many signs this coach was unstable and a nightmare for women who were subordinates. Yet Michigan kept him on until the end of the season and new recruits were signed. I expect the lawsuits to be flying. This was a complete failure by the University of Michigan. Their poor choices are going to be very costly.
Oh get real. Cheaters are everywhere. Guys who bang their admins are everywhere. And the University is not responsible for his poor personal life decisions. He clearly violated a bunch of employment policies and at this point it's not terribly important which ones. Anyone who gets pregnant by her married boss is also fully jointly responsible for the situation in my opinion. The difference is that this guy's career IS likely ended because he was so prominent. Although it's not a great analogy, this is like Monica Lewinsky's situation. Plus he's losing millions of dollars. He will be able to go on living but his life IS kind of ruined. Not surprising he cracked up. Who knows, maybe he even has CTE? I think this is endemic in college football. Many of the players are only in college to try get to the NFL. A dishonest mindset is the basis of the whole sport at the top of the game. It started out as a side pastime of students and then the priorities flipped to ensure a high level of play.
