Because the University of Michigan administrators knew about the inappropriate relationship and unusual behavior for months before taking any action. Waited until after national letter of intent signing day. Should have disciplined coach earlier and/or at least directed him to get help for his mental condition.

I thought they were aware but had no proof until Monday when she came forward. They were both interviewed in the summer and denied. Could they have hired a PI? Probably. I’m not sure he has grounds for a lawsuit there. Was incredibly dumb of the AD to fire him without HR or security present though.
