[/quote] It's not clear that this much thought went into this one, but in some cases the unequal window distribution is caused by the builder trying to meet energy efficiency standards. Only a certain percentage of the building envelope can be comprised of windows. If you have huge windows on the front of the house, you have to eliminate them elsewhere. [/quote]
