I don't see how you can be on good terms with people in Latin America when you think their plight is the same as Nazi repression.

OP here.  I'm not equating the plight of those seeking better lives for themselves generally with the plight of those fleeing the Nazis.  But I'm not begrudging them either.  I don't think it's morally right to penalize them just because they weren't born here.  Once they're here, following the law, and want to work I will hire them.  They deserve nothing less. Well, by all means let's spend 75 billion Dollars over that.  It won't accomplish anything for anyone, unless you happen to be in the business of building concentration camps .
