Many, many modern Americans turn a blind eye and would rather be cheerleaders for a side than operate on principle.

Look at how conservatives threw away their need for dignity to back Trump (though to be fair to them, many Republicans couldn't take the lack of decorum and were/are "never Trump"

Look at how democrats, who purport to care about abuse and sexual misconduct ignored Biden's creepy behavior towards children--caught on camera, no less-- to just scream about Trump.

There are few people who really are about policies.  It's always "Oh yeah, well the other guy is a WORSE deviant/thief/liar so MY deviant/thief/liar is a hero!"

"Biden's a creepy pedo" is one of the stupidest manufactured outrages the right came up with over Biden.  Complete with faked videos.  If it were real and actually a thing there never would have been a need to fake it.
