I am liberal, male, and somewhat alpha and somewhat beta.  I do fine dating.  But I definitely noticed this kind of woman when I was dating as a young man and again after I divorced. It's very common.  I don't mean that liberal women like Trump jerks but they often do like athletic, successful, alpha males. If you haven't noticed this then you're not paying attention.[/quote]

Yes.  They are often alpha males who happen to be liberal politically.  Many women prefer them to other liberal men who are less athletic and less successful. Isn't that obvious? "Alpha" to me means assertive and goal oriented.  It doesn't mean obnoxious or Trumpy.[/quote]

The thing about people who are into politics is that they are insufferable and have a never ending list of grievances. The intellectual laziness combined with repeating talking points is just too much. I understand screening out MAGA losers, but advertising your political affiliation is going to scare away tons of well rounded dudes.[/quote]
