Dude, it's like you love to be gaslit by that guy. His kids go on his teams, and they're just not good. His teams learn how to play club, not actual lax. So, it's 10 on 11 from here on out, with lots of dodging and turnovers for that squad.[/quote]

So much wrong with both of these comments:
Madlax national team is a joke, it was a rushed rollout to try and compete with NL's Mojo team. In it's current form, Madlax National Team isn't a viable option for those area kids wanting to play on real national team. The best Madlax players already play for Mojo, Nationals LC, Red Hots and others. If anything, the current EHS players bring talent to the ML national program.

If kids want to go to EHS, it has nothing to do with CM. Scott Conklin has a tremendous lacrosse resume as a player and coach.

Tell me you know nothing about club lacrosse without actually telling me. Madlax national/supreme has been around much longer then mojo nationals. Nl/mojo was created to compete with madlax and other national programs.[/quote]

I think he meant it’s like giving the other side an extra man. Badly put point nonetheless.  More importantly, who started their national program first is irrelevant bc they both kinda suck in club land but not sure that even matters bc they’re making money off it. Whether they actually coach is kinda beside the point, it lets some kids who don’t get to tournaments get to tournaments. Whether that is a desirable goal (debatable at best) is also irrelevant to the owners of those programs. [/quote]

A coach or a club "being fine with" not being the #1 team or having the #1 player is like a teacher or principal actually caring about a kid who is not the valedictorian.  It's not about money or IG clicks.  As a long time coach of youth sports (and high school players outside of the MIAA triple holdbck leagues are still youths),  I found the greatest satisfaction in helping lower tier kids move up levels.  Get away from MadLax, Crabs, DC Express, Hawks and Next Level, and you will find that there are lots of coaches and organizations who actually are just trying to help the kids be the best version of themselves, on and off the field.  They have to charge $ because they have expenses.   But they are not in it for the money.  [/quote]
