NP. I loved East Campus when I was at Duke. Different vibe than West, but not in a bad way. Just different.

Though I was assigned to West my first year and loved the convenience, I absolutely see the benefit of having all the first years living together on East. To me it’s actually a huge plus - helps forge friendships and community (and way more convenient than when first years were split between three campuses like back in my day.)

When I went back to visit a few years ago, I spent time on East. It’s still beautiful in its own way, and super easy to get to West. Not at all a ghetto. 🙄 [/quote]
