There is no way that one singular HHS Secretary can unilaterally get rid of the supposed “poison” in foods. Don’t you think the scientists working there would already have done this if feasible? Food companies care about sales, if info about seed oil, synthetic colors and other ingredients starts going mainstream and in your face you probably will start avoiding their products and reading ingredients.  Food companies may also be required to put info about these ingredients in plain view on the front of the package with a warning like it's already done with allergens or GMO.   Food companies adjust and start offering alternative products advertising healthier ingredients and methods of preparation on the front of the package.  Nothing new, this is free market at work.  When trend was low-fat vs. high fat food manufacturers adjusted quickly to offer low fat versions of everything and put it in bold letters on packaging.  All this needs is a trend (accomplished via info dissemination and marketing techniques) and pool of customers for the unhealthy ingredient laden products starts shrinking. [/quote]
