Because that wasnt what it was about. At the end of the book she let her 2nd daughter drop down to normal/average violin practice because she realized if she kept pushing her she would lose her, the way her own dad was the black sheep of his family because he was pushed too hard [/quote] +1 the book is very funny and self-aware.[/quote]
