We’re still together, and I love him, but I’ve given up on marriage. I don’t even want to marry him at this point. I’m sad that my lifelong dream won’t happen, but content with my life.

Sometimes I wonder what I would do if he ever did propose. I started making a lot more money than him recently, and I wonder he’d want to get married to get access to that. I’d probably fly into a rage.

But, who knows. I also tell myself that I’m not married, so there’s no reason I can’t date someone else if someone interesting came along. [/quote]
