If used treadmills are a dime a dozen and easy to find on local marketplaces for little or nothing, then the friend could have just said "ok your loss" when OP declined the offer to take it for free and gone and gotten one of those other treadmills The fact that the friend was so desperate to take the treadmill indicates that actually there is at least a small market for used treadmills and that their value is more than zero[/quote]
