That wasn't working and we needed to save Israel from itself.  Had Gaza gone into full blown famine it would have destroyed Israel internationally and harmed US interests.  It's annoying that we had to do it but we couldn't let Israel do what their leadership wanted and was trying to do.  It's not a crime against humanity until the widespread famine starts.[/quote]
