Biden issued a statement condemning antisemitism on campus and the protesters earlier on. This is what pushed the reaction from the universities(and the president of Harvard getting fired because she did not support Israel enough). Since that he has said nothing but has given federal law enforcement the green light to go after protesters.

Of course he didn't speak out about Muslims who also feel unsafe on campus. 50% of BOTH groups feel unsafe. Could the answer be Israel donated than $4m to him as a senator -- by far the most of any other per Open Secrets.
