NP. Private school DD and her friend who are current juniors were nominated for two of these programs last summer. DD’s program was completely free, including transportation. Friend’s program cost $1000 not including transportation. Both had a fantastic time, and felt that UChicago rolled out the red carpet for them. It worked, as both kids are now strongly considering applying either ED1 or ED2 in the coming admissions cycle.[/quote]
