I stopped being pro-Russia about 15 years ago.  I had such high hopes for the Russian Federation, after the breakup of the Soviet Union and the chaotic period of Russian Mafia era only to find Putin has turned it into his own greedy, corrupt kleptocracy, dialed back freedoms, and poisoned the Russian people against the west with all of his propagandizing.[/quote]
