Russia can't support right-wing authoritarianism in 2024 because its soldiers liberated concentration camps 80 years ago on its way to retaliating against Hitler for stabbing them in the back after the Poland deal is a new argument.
It is a new argument that you created. Nobody said anti Semitism doesn’t exist in Russia or that they’re anti Nazism/communism in the past means they’re good today. To the contrary; I am saying Ukraine might be full of bad actors precisely because there are many there that are pro Russia. Many Ukrainians in Eastern Ukraine where the war is going on have sympathies or loyalties with Putin or Nazis and not necessarily Zelensky . Zelensky is the money train because his army gets all the great shiny armor and toys from the Americans so people that like Putin and or dislike Jews will still deal with him. If This is a bombshell or something out of the realm of possibility for you, consider Afghanistan . We armed all the mullahs and Hamid Karzai, our supposed leader and bright light of democracy, all to realize many locals had sympathy with the Taliban and secretly supported them. We should just flush our money down the toilet because that’s where these expensive arms essentially go. We should invest in our country more and bad actors that we do not understand less
That is your opinion but it is not based in reality. The reality is 180 degrees from your views of Ukraine. It’s like you have idea what is going on.
No, this is actually a very realistic view of what’s going on in 99% of American battlegrounds for democracy. Americans are held for gullible rich daddies and the real agenda is stealing as much funding as possible.
Amazing how quickly the lessons of 1938 are forgotten. Republican isolationists would have us believe that totalitarianism “over there” doesn’t threaten our own peace and prosperity.
It’s not just Republicans that are isolationist. Many progressives are as well. Obama and Trump won their separate party nominations largely due to their anti Iraq war stance. That’s what made them stand out from the dozen candidates running. If I remember correctly , Biden was one of the pro Iraq Democrats . What does this mean? Both Republican and Democrats do not want war or war candidates winning elections . No, totalitarianism doesn’t threaten our own peace and prosperity. Do you know how many dictators are our friends? The lessons of 1938 were never learned. . Israel hasn’t learned it or at least it doesn’t matter to them. Inviting Nazis from Ukraine to tour their country while arresting or killing Palestinian children is what they preferred doing
That is because the Iraq war was mostly manufactured pretense to compensaate for Saddam's attempt on Bush41's life and nothing to do with Weapons or Mass Destruction.
