With public pressure the Council may be made to walk back this outrageous appointment.

It sends a timely message that the public is watching and will not tolerate these pro-criminal appointments (literally!) and shady processes.

Those who do not change to support the majority public opinion can face challengers and recall petitions (although electable challengers need to be identified first).

Your defeatist attitude is what allows not only the soaring crime of the past year but the cherry on the sundae of appointing a horrific murderer to a sentencing commission. Doing nothing is tacit approval. If you are not a DC Justice Lab astroturfer you should be ashamed or be screened for depression. [/quote]
