I don't know how much power you think the school board- let alone one member has- but this is not a rational line of thinking.  Also, for the 10,000th time, she's the DEMOCRATIC nominee.  I'm voting for her and I'm not in APE and neither are my friends.[/quote]

I’m pretty convinced that there’s only 1-2 APEs replying ad nauseum on this thread myself, saying the same thing over and over.  Miranda will likely win tomorrow, but only because she scammed the system. I agree. I blame ArlDems and their primary process. I’m still not voting for her tho.[/quote]

+1 I can't remember this much opposition to a Dem school board nominee like ever. Miranda doesn't have a lot of community goodwill going into office. I wonder how she'll do as a board member. Arlingtonians can be vicious. [/quote]

I can't believe she actually ran for school board after founding and leading the group that has caused so much animosity and discourse in our community. To actually be working directly with teachers, parents, and staff now? She should be apologizing left and right for foisting that insanity on the rest of us.
