How many times is Izzy going to cry? How many times can Stacy say, "What do you do for ME?" She is truly disgusting. Is she an aerobics instructor? Her dad made it seem like she's some kind of high earning professional. Clearly, she's a brat, and her dad foots the bill.
I think she’s a director of operations at a Pilates studio. But yeah, she definitely had a leg up in life.
She was an account manager at some kind of cargo transport business. Now she’s a Pilates instructor and has her own business as a style and organizational consultant. So she won’t be funding her expensive lifestyle.
Stacy's lifestyle has clearly been bankrolled, at least in part, by daddy. I'm not saying there's anything necessarily wrong about that, but her expectations of Izzy are really unfair to him.
Marriage matches aren't about what's fair to the universe. Stacy needs to be married to a rich man. It's possible Izzy can get there-- he just needs the right line of work-- but I don't think Stacy will respect him if he can't provide the lifestyle she's used to.
The mismatch isn't the lifestyle, it's the journey. Stacy has obviously had a lot handed to her. Izzy has not. It's not about whether Izzy can "get there" but a lack of understanding and appreciation on her part about the differences in upbringing and her entitlement. Stacy's competency of "working hard" is different from the general population.
That's the issue. If you grew up rich and live as a rich single woman, why would you trade that to be an insurance salesman's wife? Stacy clearly has dated many rich men, although she wasn't actually that into them. She needs to be realistic about the concessions she may need to make. Either she needs to concede lifestyle or attraction, and attraction makes more sense to concede.
