That would be considerable cheaper. I doubt this is their first merry-go-round. These are likely juveniles on their 4th, 5th, + criminal incident with no future prospects. We do not need them. What we do need are more mega prisons. Make them for profit if needed. Prison labor can be used for hire to make it self sustaining. There's got to be a solution because they do not belong in society. We cannot put retailers or services in low income communities because the people that live there with rob and loot these very institutions. They continue to dig their own graves. [/quote]

Because 67% of crimes went unprosecuted in the district in 2022 by a liberal Biden da. Because we don’t have a fking working crime lab for years. Because our progressive city council has implemented the Youth Rehab act to let out criminals early. Or the second look act to shield violent criminal records. Because we let speeders keep their license with $12k in speeding tickets and they hit and killed three people on rock creek.

These looters will have a no bail policy for example. Or they will have a progressive judge intent on not prosecuting.

Portland went mad in the pandemic but  [b]Philadelphia and San Francisco changed pre-pandemic and are worse now.[/b]  We lived in Center City Phila for many years and that area was great around Rittenhouse Square.   Philly and DC comparable areas?  now several who downsized - condos, apt- now moving out. Some long term residents are moving out .  DC has had a rather rapid decline compared to Philly and SF - Conn Ave, Foggy Bottom, Cathedral Heights.[/quote]
