Agree-- the Contract w/America, Tea Party and crazy Cruz's from prior shutdowns seem like pussycats compared to these nuts. Unless McCarthy finds his spine and can stand up to the MAGAs for the good of the country (which means giving up his Speakership), then they're stuck. The MAGAs are making demands that aren't even feasible in a CR--cutting discretionary spending by 8 percent under a CR? It doesn't even make any logical sense.  Not to mention, nothing they're proposing even makes a dent in the overall deficit--they're misleading their constituents who aren't smart enough to understand this in the first place. And their constituents depend on the very programs they're proposing to cut.  MTG, Gaetz and others aren't fit to serve in Congress nor are they fit to make budgetary decisions about our government.
