Then those workers will get replaced with cheaper foreign workers and/or imported goods. They deserve a living wage, but need to be realistic in what that amount is. Health benefits into retirement, $50/hr and a pension is unrealistic given what skilled workers receive which is none of those things. [/quote]
I applaud the UAW for taking a stand against management.  I also hope other unions are watching closely and will also demand better compensation for their labor.  This has nothing to do with right or left.  It’s about dignity.  The only ones cheering against this are Wall Street and the banksters, criminals in their own right.[/quote]
