It really is remarkable. It just goes to show what a drug power is. It's sick.
That was almost comical at the end of the clip where the aide said what's your next question, "and speak up," like that was the problem. Watching his aides scramble to cover for him is sick. Him standing up there is sick. The power hoarding is sick. Our whole system is sick where this is the result.[/quote][/quote]
The system is sick indeed. It's very disturbing to see Republicans defend the idea of him holding such power at his age while at the same time objecting to Biden remaining in power for the same reason and equally disturbing to hear Democrats acknowledging McConnell's need to step down while continuing to support the idea of Biden serving a second term. I don't get it. These are human beings going through the same things all people eventually go through in their 70s or 80s. You'd think at some point people could put common sense and decency ahead of political bias.[/quote]
