Republican priorities that will carry the base plus 75-80% of moderates: Energy independence Reducing inflation Improving educational opportunities Protecting women’s sports Returning manufacturing, to include chip manufacturing Reducing taxes
REALITY CHECK on those items: Coal and oil are not energy independence. We need to diversify our domestic energy portfolio to include wind, solar, and other means of energy production, but Republicans oppose those. Oil, gas and nuclear are energy independence without killing wales and replacing solar panels after hail storms. Republicans have no proposals to reduce inflation Stop wasteful and unnecessary Government spending. Republicans are undermining education and their SCOTUS just removed opportunities at higher education from minorities. Provide equal opportunity for all and will provide school choice to get out failed public schools. Republicans are undermining WOMEN via healthcare and other protections. They don't care about women's sports, it's purely about bigotry. The vast majority of republicans support abortion protection similar to what exists in the rest of the civilized world up to 16 weeks with exceptions for rape, incest, and the health of the mother, not murder on the day of birth and no woman should be forced with a male. It was the DEMOCRATS who pushed the Chips & Technology bill, the DEMOCRATS who are returning manufacturing. More new manufacturing plants have been opening under Biden than did under Trump Yes, because Trump got the ball rolling. Republicans want to reduce taxes for the rich and big businesses, at the expense of everyone else No they want a vibrant economy driven by the public sector not the Government Facts matter.
Yes, they do
Biden is not cutting off oil. In fact, there is more oil drilling on US public lands today than during the Trump Administration. It is about also preparing for a renewable energy future, which the GOP refuses to acknowledge. Please show where the GOP has done any oversight on wasteful government spending, pr proposed bills to specifically cut waste (not just general cuts) - specific programs or bloat. School choice is nothing but transferring public dollars to parochial schools, which is a violation of the first amendment. if we can have public dollars supporting abortions, we also cannot have public dollars supporting jesus indoctrination. The vast majority or republicans may support some form of abortion rights, but the elected GOP officials and their appointed judges sure don't. See the problem? Please show your work on where trickle down economics, which is what you support, is actually a beneficial economic policy.
