No it actually has to do with the following below. Companies are rewarded for pushing this stuff because it improves their scores. Nothing to do with sales although Bud light is definitely feeling the almost 30% drop in sales.

Well I say enough people give a shlt about this otherwise Budlight would not be panicking over a massive drop in sales. Other companies including Target are now afraid of being "budlighted" as well which is why Target removed items from their Pride collection.

Unfortunately both Democrats and Republicans are guilty of being out of touch when it comes to certain issues. Access to safe abortions is a great example as others have mentioned. A majority of Americans are in favor of abortion but with restrictions. Democrats on the other hand are too soft on crime and we can see the ramifications of these liberal policies. No the truth is they are worried about facing a similar situation as Budlight. Interesting how Target seemed to have no problems with actual violence when their stores were getting destroyed and ransacked during the BLM riots.

Several Target stores in Utah, Pennsylvania, and Ohio received bomb threats relating to the store's Pride collection. An email was sent to Cleveland 19 News on Friday threatening five stores in Ohio's Jackson Township, Boardman, Stow, Niles, and Monaca, Pennsylvania. The email referenced what it called Target catering to the wants of "homophobic right wing redneck bigots."

"Target is full of...cowards who turned their back on the LGBT community and decided to cater to the homophobic right wing redneck bigots who protested and vandalized their store," read the email. "We won't stand idly by as the far right continues to hunt us down."
