Been married to a conservative last 16 years and have to say they make great husbands and fathers long term.
please. Conservative men don't believe in equal housework and childcare. I grew up in a conservative household. Liberal men are much more aware of women's rights than conservative men, who really don't care much about women's rights. Also, the highly educated tend to be liberal.
I disagree, I’m very liberal. Conservative men fix things, take care of the lawn/yard, paint rooms, fix light fixtures, do the taxes, grill, take orders when there is a party, plan tail gates, do the dishes, take their plates to the sink, set up tvs, move furniture, coach kids sports teams, help with nighttime routine (anything family), etc. Things are equal but fall on gender norm lines.
Liberal men don't do any of those things?
Can you name something conservative men never do? Do all liberal men do those things?
Liberal men vote for politicians who support women's rights. Conservative men do not support women's right.
That is absolutely not true and why Liberals got bad name. You’re like the antifa of liberals.
…tell us who are these conservative champions of women’s rights?
Barry Goldwater. Ronald Reagan.
LOL!! I won't even bother looking to see if you're right, but you do know they're both dead, right? How about a live conservative champion of women's rights? Got any names?
Ronald Reagan? Lol! Google Reagan and the Moral Majority. I switched parties because Reagan became anti-choice when he was running for President. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 7—Ronald Reagan conceded today that the liberalized abortion bill he signed as Governor of California led to “abortion on demand” in many of that state's hospitals. He told a news conference here that he would not make the same “mistake” today. The Californian has taken a solid position against liberalized abortion law in campaigning for the Republican nomination for President, and said he would support a constitutional amendment overthrowing the United States Supreme Court's ruling liberalizing the basis for abortion. His position, repeated in nearly every stop in New Hampshire, where “Right to Life” groups have made abortion a major campaign issue, is that he opposes abortion in all circumstances except when a mother's life is imperiled by her pregnancy. In 1967, in his first year as 1Governor, he signed a bill that went beyond this position, allowing abortions when there was a threat to both the physical and mental health of the patient, and if the pregnancy was the product of rape or incest.
There was an article detailing how Reagan succumbed to the "party of family values" southern baptist groups. He was not originally that right wing, as evidenced by his tenure as CA governor.
