I certainly recall one year ago today checking Informed Delivery and both UPS and FedEx for info (and seeing nothing). The schools go to pretty significant lengths to make sure that you don’t receive it early. That said, depending on the school, your “highest probability” of info is from UPS and FedEx as they are actually accurate whereas USPS is a total crapshoot. Both UPS and FedEx offer services that track both inbound and outbound packages.

As it turned out, our kid’s now current school sent a letter and swag that arrived on Saturday (as I recall). I know for sure that nothing arrived on Friday.
