She let him know she was going to leave him, or he figured that out, or she just said something that angered him. Maybe he accuses her of something. It doesn’t have to be true for him to believe it, such as an affair. Abusers accuse their partners if stuff all the time. They had been drinking, he’s mentally unstable. He kills her in a fit of rage, not planned. Clean up is poorly done because he’s hungover, didn’t sleep, has got his three kids there, and isn’t supposed to leave his house without permission. Also he probably thinks he’s a lot smarter than he is.[/quote]
