[/quote] Shortly after Smith's arrest, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) sent a letter to President Biden that discussed threats to school board members and increasingly hostile resistance to school board policies. These acts were compared to hate crimes and domestic terrorism. The letter specifically referred to Smith's arrest at the LCPS meeting as an example. Here is an article discussing the NSBA's letter.
