I abandoned my New Year’s resolution to show more empathy for imperialist dictators who invaded neighboring sovereign nations for the purpose of annexing said nation by committing war crimes and genocide by February 24. Try as I might I just can’t get past the indiscriminate murder of men, women and children by targeting apartment buildings, schools, churches, daycares, and homes. Mass rape, torture and the abduction of children as an instrument of war is also a dealbreaker.
I think that's what will happen after Russia withdraws from east Ukraine, with reprisals by the Nazi Ukraine battalion.
you think Zelensky, a Jew, would be pro-Nazi Ukrainian battalion? Wow, the pro-Russian stooges are on fire on this thread.
Prior to the invasion Ukraine's far-right, Nazi sympathizer, extremist problem was widely acknowledged and discussed in the US sources. Zelensky was president then, too. He was a Jew then, too. It was only after the invasion that Ukraine has overnight transformed from Europe's most corrupt country with a Nazi problem into a brave democracy consumed by yearning for freedom and happiness for all.
Russian bot.
Tell Reuters why don't you. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-cohen-ukraine-commentary/commentary-ukraines-neo-nazi-problem-idUSKBN1GV2TY Or NBC. https://www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/ukraine-has-nazi-problem-vladimir-putin-s-denazification-claim-war-ncna1290946
ok, but that still doesn't change the fact that Zelensky is a Jew. You think a Jew would be fine with neoNazis? We also have neoNazis in the military. Do you think Biden is ok with that? was Trump?
I don't know what to tell you but I note you have moved closer toward acknowledging that Neonazis do exist in Ukraine. Two answers come to mind immediately while the rest are queuing behind: 1) Zelensky is fine with neoNazis. 2) NeoNazis don't care if he's fine or not. 2) Neo
I don't think anyone said that neoNazis don't exist in Ukraine. They exist in Russia. They exist in the US. But, the premise of Putin ridding Ukraine of neoNazis is BS.
Why yes indeed, someone did say just that, and called me a Russian bot for saying Ukraine has a neoNazi problem. Now it looks like the conversation has moved into the phase best described as "don't bother me with your silly facts".
Because there is a difference between saying countries have far-right/neoNazi groups, and saying one particular nation has it worse than others. Ukraine is not worse than others and it certainly does not justify a Russian invasion!!! You are a troll, and we all know it. Please just go away.
Did anyone say Ukraine has it worse than others? I mean shall we ask Reuters who ran the article on Ukraine and not any other country? (I take it you DON'T want to be bothered with silly facts? That was a right call too?) I'm a troll who brought you the news on where that missile came from while you were frothing at the mouth calling for Article 5.
PP you just replied to. Actually I've posted numerous times that nations will try to minimize this because whatever it is, it's pretty sure to be an accident. At most, it will trigger article 4. You need to learn to respond to excitable people without exaggerating your own posts. Stop being a pro-Russian troll whining about neoNazis. Nothing excuses Russian invasion, so discussing white supremacy is off-topic on thread pertaining to the war in Ukraine. Go start your own thread about neoNazis and I'll contribute about the skinheads in my country, France. Focus on what's likely: it's a Russian missile accidentally sent across the border, or it's a Ukrainian interception of a Russian missile accidentally sent across the border. Neither of which should trigger any sort of militarized NATO response. Eastern Europe will continue to prepare militarily as a show of strength, but Putin has no intention of invading them. All this is for show. What matters is the question: will Russia run out of missiles before Ukraine's infrastructure collapses completely, or the reverse? That will determine the course of the war, and timing of possible acts of desperation, such as nuclear plant sabotage, tactical weapon, dam explosions, chemical weapon, etc.
"Ukraine has no Neonazis!" "Well actually it does." "Russian troll!" "Then Brookings and Reuters are Russian trolls too." "Stop saying things that are off topic! Stop being a Russian troll!" fingers in ears "Russian troll! Russian troll!"
