What I learned from this thread: Liberals think its ok to have 6 kids by 6 different men starting at age 16, and to lock my kids in a trailer at night and go clubbing as long as I'm black. Being black excuses me from any for of responsibility or personal accountability. It's the slave owners fault that I make terrible decisions. My brain isn't developed enough to have the innate sense not to do something as stupid as this. It's George Bush's fault.
This.......
I am not a liberal and your rush to judgment, again, to label people says a lot about you. Perahps you have a reading comprehension deficiency, so to clear it up for you, no one said it was okay to have six kids, and I thought it was five, by different men. Of course since you don't know how many men fathered the children, you speculated and rushed to judgment again. Personally, I think in this day and age, it is irresponsible to have six kids whether it is with six men or one. What people, including myself have repeatedly stated is that her sexual history should not be open for discussion. Her leaving the children alone and the reason(s) why are open for discussion. Also, it is interesting that you state that being Black excuses any responsibility or accountability. You and many others on this thread allowed your prejudices and biases to prejudge this woman. Her race was unknown until the the 10th or 11th page of this thread. Someone living in rural Louisiana in a trailer park could have just as easily been a white woman, but your prejudices toward Blacks allowed you to assume without corroborating information that she was Black. So, if you are saying that liberals prefer facts before pre-judging, perhaps I need to rethink my voting patterns, and vote "D" straight down the ballot. Of course, if I voted like that, I would be someone who could not think for oneself. Therefore, I will remain an "I" voter and stick to the facts.
NP here, who generally agrees with the PP directly above, BUT her name was revealed at the beginning of the thread, and it was a distinctively black name. So, I assumed from the first page that the mother was black because of her name. If her name had been Ann or Sheila or Lisa, I would not have made any assumption about her race. I don't think it requires any racial prejudice to assume that someone named Shaqueta is African American.
