I agree that the “sorry you didn’t get a bid” posts are classless and probably just from trolls or even kids who routinely post on this board. But the superiority complexes and double standards coming from the anti Greek people is over the top. I mean some of you care WAY too much about a voluntary system. Do it or don’t, no one cares. Sorry to burst your bubble but many of your own kids are going to be interested despite your claim that your kids are too good for it and too enlightened.[/quote]

Not sure why you’re directing this at me. I’ve always disliked the greek system but supported my kid 110% when she wanted to rush. Every stereotype was true in that experience so my opinion hasn’t changed. I also know people who have had good experiences and I don’t make fun of them.  It’s not for everyone and that’s ok. And the stereotypes are true at some schools.  It doesn’t have to be one or the other.  I care because it was a horribly negative experience. [/quote]
