These "standards," as you put it, have been encouraged by Democrats.  As you said, Maxine Waters started the "get in your face" tactics of the left and it's only gotten worse since then.

I'm still imagining the utter mind-blowing outrage on the left if conservative protesters dared to do this to liberals - harass them at restaurants, movie theaters, and their own homes.  [/quote]
