That explanation has never been all that persuasive, really.  The dancers supposedly had clauses written into their contracts to allow them to leave the tour with 30 days notice.  I have a hard time believing that Taylor took their contractually-sound move so personally that she created this crazy public beef that lasted for years.  Beyond her little "special place in hell" remark, you didn't see her go after Tiny and Amy nearly as hard, and they made fun of her publicly.  I really think there was some personal aspect to the beef (John Mayer?) that neither has an interest in sharing publicly, so maybe we will never know.[/quote]

You seem to have strong feelings about this for some reason, and it was tangential to my point -- that I don't think the dancers are the true/full reason for the Katy/Taylor beef -- so I won't bother listing the other, more significant insults that Taylor did not turn into a big public beef.

Not really strong feelings no, mainly how young and dramatic she appeared at that time. in using the term "a place in hell" regarding a joke, again an instance of a celebrity being highly reactive. I don't follow taylor no, I am in a different age bracket, but I think most of us know her fans are devoted, yes. My niece is one of them, she was invited and went to her house in Rhode island a few years ago when she invited a group of her biggest fans to her home. My point was she was out of her league in her counter to the joke. I never felt her public beefs served her well. But I'm old. I guess [/quote]
