I mean, if Black teachers really feel like they are being shamed for masking, and feel that white parents (mothers in particular) want to deny them agency over their own bodies, I wonder if they are basing this on actual real life experiences of shaming, or if they are just ascribing this attitude to the white mothers for other reasons. Let's not forget that in reality, it is the mask *mandate* that denies people agency over their own bodies, not the mask choice.[/quote]
