From what I've read she doesn't want to go on location after location. He became popular I think because of her and maybe is a little full of himself. That's my take. Sad because as you get older you realize strangers aren't worth your family, nor the time away from them. If he gets someone else pregnant it will be sad for his kids because that rarely ends well for them. With the age difference my impression is he's still somewhat immature.
He has that camper van right? Why would she leave LA and her busy life to sit in a camper van while her other half does a bit of filming and surfing? I'm sorry but I'd find that difficult too. She's not a hanger-on, she's her own person.
And she also has two relatively young kids that she shares with Mamoa who no doubt are in school and need some semblance of stability. The camper van - surf nomad thing doesn’t lend to that.
Yeah, no, that's not a thing in LA at all.
Sure it is. There are many famous, successful actors who’ve talked about the fact that once kids become school aged the game changes. It’s no longer as easy to move from set-to-set as a family and the consequence is that actors and their spouses spend an increasing amount of time apart.
haha. I lived in LA for years, my kids went to school with the kids of many famous actors, directors, musicians. None of them take school seriously. Many of them don't think twice about pulling their kid out of school for 6 weeks to go away on a movie set in New Zealand. And half the non-public schools are about picking shells up on a beach and drawing rainbows. So no, believe what you like from those PR interviews, that's not the whole story.
:D
