I believe not only in checks-and-balances but also honesty and Youngkin is far more honest than McAuliffe who will use all the 'Clintonist' attacks he perfected at the helm of both Clinton campaigns to worm his way out of accepting responsibility for anything -- including his own party operatives smearing an opponent.

Aside from that, you were perfectly happy to see 'dumb crap out of Richmond' become policy when all Virginia school boards were overridden and forced to hold in-person classes regardless of case rates.

LMAO Northam didn't step in to override anyone - as you all were vocally miserable about all 2020. The Republican bills did that work and they weren't passed until Spring 2021. Good of Northam to be a malleable door-stop and not get in the way with a veto but that's all he did. Rubberstamp the 2020 school closings and rubberstamp the 2021 school openings.
