I don’t pay attention to any of this crap. I pay attention to the ridiculous policies that have been pushed by the Virginia parties over the years, and I’m not seeing the party of the vaginal probe becoming more statesmanlike or mature, but instead doubling down on guns, misogyny, and Trump. McAuliffe may be a Democratic Clintonist hack, but he’ll veto all the dumb crap out of Richmond. Virginia also got better run overall during his las administration. I can’t believe any of you base your voting decisions on PR stunts and manufactured outrage. I find it particularly ironic all the people who are clutching their pearls over a campaign ad but at the same time supported and voted for Trump - the biggest corrupt sleazeball ever.
I believe not only in checks-and-balances but also honesty and Youngkin is far more honest than McAuliffe who will use all the 'Clintonist' attacks he perfected at the helm of both Clinton campaigns to worm his way out of accepting responsibility for anything -- including his own party operatives smearing an opponent. Aside from that, you were perfectly happy to see 'dumb crap out of Richmond' become policy when all Virginia school boards were overridden and forced to hold in-person classes regardless of case rates. So stop with the McAuliffe hypocrisy.
You’re a Youngkin supporter who wants to close down schools again? That’s not going to work out the way you think it will.
Nope. I'm a Youngkin supporter who knows he would never allow schools to close down the way the Democrat Governor of Virginia - Northam - or his wannabee successor McAuliffe - did and still would.
If you think schools shouldn’t have closed down at all, weren’t you glad when Northam stepped in to override school boards and force them to reopen? Your posts aren’t really making sense.
LMAO Northam didn't step in to override anyone - as you all were vocally miserable about all 2020. The Republican bills did that work and they weren't passed until Spring 2021. Good of Northam to be a malleable door-stop and not get in the way with a veto but that's all he did. Rubberstamp the 2020 school closings and rubberstamp the 2021 school openings. The measure was sponsored by Republican Sen. Siobhan Dunnavant, who is a doctor. “We must open schools,” Dunnavant said, urging her colleagues to “listen to the science.” She said there’s no evidence to support keeping children out of in-person school and warned that vulnerable children were being left behind. The bill reads, “Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia: ... That each local school division in the Commonwealth shall make [ virtual and ] in-person learning available to all students by choice of the student’s parent or guardian.”
