Ok, this thread is totally gone off the rails by scorned women imagining what affairs look like. You aren't even close.

I had one. I liked my AP. I kinda even loved her although I am realistic enough to know it was mostly hormones talking. She was not a warm hole to me, I really liked hanging with her in non sexual ways. But of course sex was the primary activity. Her husband completely rejected her, my wife me so we definitely were great cheerleaders for each other. She even gave me some good advice on how to reignite my marriage.

We ended our affair on good terms, mostly a slow fade out. I can still get in touch with her and if she needed something I would be there for her if I could.

I know many men who have cheated. I have never heard any of them talk so disgusted about their AP. There can definitely be a disconnect between the sexes (he primarily wants sex and affection and she wants that but has more feelings) but this idea men mock or spit on their APs is the stuff of strange betrayed wives fantasy[/quote]

I have heard the locker room talk from the married men at my office.  They are pigs.  And, the vast majority are not like you.  They pump and dump and laugh about it with friends.  They even refer to the women as 'pigs'.[/quote]
