I nearly hit one the other day at the four way stop after the one lane bridge. Cyclist went right through the stop sign. It's great that you ride your bicycle and you can ride in the road if you want to take that risk but you are still obligated to follow the same rules of the road as people driving cars. I am so sick of cyclists who think the rules don't apply to them and don't stop for lights, stop signs and don't use hand signals to tell others they plan to turn.
Please I was nearly hit by a car that went through a stop sign and I was in a car. The driver was doing that follow the first car closely so you do not have to stop at the stop sign. It’s just not cyclist who do not following the rules.
But two people in a car are much, much less likely to cause serious injury when compared to a similar outcome between a car and a cyclist. This argument is really tired. I am predominantly a pedestrian, but I walk and cycle sometimes. When I am in my car, my goal is not to injure anyone around me. Some cyclists make that every hard. We get some drivers are assholes. But again, we also know that even if we do every right, we could still seriously injure or kill one of these cyclists who show zero disregard for their own well being.
