The average person has never heard of Northwestern, assumes it's the university in Boston, or would guess it's some state school in the Pacific Northwest. I personally recognize it's a good school but this idea kids grow up clamoring to go there or it is in any way comparable to Princeton or even Cornell and Brown is laughable.
