Asking is NOT complaining. It is clarifying who is invited. If her kids are not invited, any objections after that are complaining. Fragility is not being able to handle questions about the invite list. Having to tell people "no." Suck it up. Questions are to be expected re: weddings. If you can't handle it, well, too bad.
